Phil was the tenor saxophonist for Titanic, a rock band that toured Europe for almost 30 years.
Phil joined Titanic in 2006, after the late Janne Løseth reformed the band along with Roy Robinson, Mick Walker, and Didier Blum. As a quintet, Titanic released their album Ashes and Diamonds on 20 February 2009 in Europe.
